We have today (3 July 2009)
been made aware that five ponies and one horse were removed from a stable
yard in Daws Heath to another yard by their owner.
THE NEW YARD OWNER/LIVERIES
SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THESE PONIES MAY BE CARRYING THE STRANGLES
BACTERIA.
WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THEY
ARE NOW IN THE SOUTHEND AREA.
IF THE PONIES/HORSE
(DESCRIPTIONS LISTED BELOW) ARE ON YOUR YARD OR YOU KNOW OF THEIR
WHEREABOUTS, WOULD YOU PLEASE CONTACT SUE
ALLERY ON 07515 565089
AS A MATTER OF URGENCY?
The owner of the ponies and
horse is fully aware of the consequences of introducing these ponies to a
new yard and exposing other horses to the illness, but has IRRESPONSIBLY
REFUSED to comply with taking the necessary precautionary measures.
THANK YOU
